Marco Eugeni [1996] was born in Abruzzo, between sea and mountains. After school he moved to Milano, to start the Interior Design bachelor at Politecnico di Milano. He has always been interested in Arts. Music came first, then Design and Architecture. David Byrne and Carlo Scarpa are people he can call masters or heroes.
Erik van der Veen [1988] is a designer based in The Hague. Currently he is focussing on pattern design. His mission is to give traditional patterns a contemporary facelift. “It’s morbid how people willingly decorate their walls with endangered animals and still unsoiled rainforests. I do understand the urge to look for beauty in nature. But these shapes can also be found closer to home, in our everyday environment. My patterns aren’t meant to cover up our messy surroundings but to celebrate them.”
Elvis Wesley [1988] is a creative studio that mixes the fields of visual art and material design. It is dedicated to and named after the unjustly forgotten artist carrying the same name: Elvis Wesley. Not much is known about the spunky artist of past glory—only that he doesn’t really exist. The studio breathes life into his imaginary life story to enrich and entertain the world with visions and relics from his yet to be written history.
Overlap One Another is the design studio of twin sisters Éva and Ildikó Valicsek [1988]. They share a passion for patterns, systems, colors and layering. Their patterns are the result of a layerring technique with geometric pattern fonts. Overlap One Another collaborates with a wide range of international brands across the worlds of interiors, product design or publishing.
Toi et Moi studio is a childhood friends team, Gili First [1977] & Keren Dubrov [1977]. After 20 years of friendship, the love for fashion, style and aesthetic merged into our own artist studio. Toi et Moi acts on the belief that art should be approachable and affordable to all. All their artwork’s are drawn by hand with watercolor or repidograph pen. They reflect global trends with our own local style to combine chic with art and color.
Domenico Orefice [1982] graduated in Industrial Design in Politecnico di Milano in 2006. From 2005 he collaborates with various studios and in 2010 he founds his own advisory Studio. In 2011 he wins his first award at Promosedia International Contest, prestigious in the world of furniture, then Young Blood Awards, awarded by the Ministry of Youth Policies and other recognitions. Domenico collaborates continuously, through his studio, with companies and multinationals in the world of bathrooms, furniture and jewelry, as a designer, art director and interior designer.
