Daisy Wallpaper | William Morris
Daisy Wallpaper
Forever cheerful and joyous, Daisy was William Morris’ first ever design for Morris & Co., a timeless favorite to this day.
Daisy was the first wallpaper to be printed by Morris & Co. in 1864 and displays an unusually flat arrangement of naively drawn wild daisies on tufts of grass. Morris had previously used the daisy motif when embroidering wallhangings for his home Red House and for decorating hand-painted ceramic tiles an early enterprise of Morris Marshall Faulkner & Co. This charming wallpaper has been faithfully reproduced from original wallpapers in the Morris & Co. Archive.
