Pattern Description:
Inspired mostly by the wonderful Kronos collection of Rajput miniature paintings at the Metropolitan Museum in NY, Dimonah composed a collage that took the painters in our studio over 8 months to complete painting in full scale. She melded the miniature subjects into a fantasy universe where mortals, gods and stylized nature co-exist in peaceful harmony and ironically in a much larger scale than their traditional purpose, i.e. the opposite of miniature! Within the same periods from the 16th to the 19th cent. the two prevalent schools of miniature painting in India, differed in style. The Rajput School (Hindu) differs from the Mogul School (Muslim). They are both exquisite but this scenic is mostly influenced by the Hindu style. It is sold by panels of 90 cm width and in 5 standard heights : 225cm, 255cm, 275cm, 300cm, 325cm It is available in 3 standard color options : Gouache, Pop and Cold Gouache, as well as in custom size & color. Assorted ceilings also available in custom. In standard height 325cm the full decor is 25,20 m long without repetition. As the majority of our decors, this decor loops. This means that last panel of each decor finishes where the first panel begins. As a consequence, you can start with any panel you want, and stop where you need. The design will continue as long as necessary Printed on PVC free 180 gr. Non-Woven paper; also available printed on Non-Woven Scrubbable paper & Vinyl Coated Scrubbable paper. Easy to install and remove : paste the wall only, strippable, dimensionally stable Made in London (UK) After receiving your sample, call us with your height requirements .
